Turbine House

This is a dilapidated and very old hydro electric power house. You can see the incoming penstock (pressurised water pipeline) and the casing of what I think will be a "Pelton Wheel" mechanisim.After it has done its work the water falls away under gravity to a sump  below and flows off to the river. The route of the exhausted water is called a "tail race".
You can see the river out the window.
I was obiously very tired on this December night to have omitted the post at the time. It will have very little visibility now. Anyway, that's it done (20 January)
