Aurora

I've just finished this brilliant novel (I had to take a break while I finished my book group book). The epic scale, and prose that's both sparsely elegant yet densely packed with ideas, science and theories is just breathtaking. I started taking notes as I read it, I was learning all the time. Including the best description of how to bodysurf I've ever read. AND I emotionally connected with his characters.

I'm awestruck. I will be reading more of his work!
