'Learner Driver'

This morning D and I went out to the back paddock again for a kick of the soccer ball. After about an hour of running around out there we spotted some kangaroos come up the hill near us. I ran back to the house to grab the camera and when I returned there were 2 big males having a fight, unfortunately I interupted them trying to get too close (I really need a long zoom lens) and then they were more interested in what we were doing. There goes that blip.

D decided to have a play in one of the abandoned Kombi vans out in the paddock and was pretending to drive, asking me questions about what each of the pedals did, what was the big stick in the middle for, how do you change gears, checking if the doors would open and close etc. etc.

This afternoon we went to the footy to watch the inuagural Hawks vs GWS Giants at the MCG. The game was a total wipeout, the Hawks second biggest win in their history. A 162 point win. Not a great spectacle to watch. It was like the men playing the schoolboys. We left just after 3/4 time to beat the traffic, but got stuck on the Eastern Freeway for around an hour due to police having the entire freeway blocked in one section because of a major accident. We didn't find out what was happening until it was too late, just like everyone else stuck in the jam.

Anyway home now, time for a relaxing night in.
