Rose from Akaroa

I am back in Christchurch again after a wonderful two nights in Akaroa with a girl freind. This rose one of the wonderful roses I have in my new garden. The poor things are a little over grown and so dry.. they need some TLC and they should look wonderful next season.

We arrived back around 2pm from Akaroa and I had my hospital appointment to see the specialist at 3.20pm. I am now in a moon-boot for walking out and about. The specialist said there wasn't much he could do and nature well heal it in time and that may take many months. He thought the moon-boot would help me for now to support the leg and to walk as much as possible to strengthen the bone... but also rest it when it gets sore.

It sure is a hot day and great to have after all the bad weather we have been having. John said here in Christchurch it wasn't that warm yesterday, where in Akaroa yesterday it was calm and very warm..about 28c.

My freind loved being over in Akaroa and thought the house was wonderful and spacious with stunning views and so much light.
