A slice of London

This blip is taken at the Liverpool Street Crossrail site and shows just some of the archaeological finds. So far, they have unearthed a suspected great plague burial pit dating back to 1665, around 3,500 skeletons from the Bedlam burial ground (in use 1569 to 1738) and a whole host of Roman remains.  And that's at this site alone! I try and walk past here on a regular basis to see what's new and enjoy my glimpse of London past.
