Icy beach

Back to the hospital today to get J's ankle re x-rayed and re-plastered.  The good news is that she doesn't need to get it pinned and plated, just a cast for six weeks.  

On the way to Kirkwall we stopped and I took Ollie and Scratch onto the beach for a run. Still bitterly cold and frosty, as you can see from the seaweed.  Two dead frozen seals on the strand line too -  their frozen whiskers nearly made the blip, but not in the best possible taste perhaps.
