Giraffes

Today we spent travelling to the Masai Mara, on a VERY bumpy road. On the way we saw a massive group of giraffes in the distance moving along, so I blipped this as we drove past. Proved tricky to get a focused photo when bumping around so much!

Anyway our group was of 12 people, 6 in each van, however ours (which was a bit behind) hit a rock and when we got out, we could all see the petrol leaking out onto the road. Luckily in the tiny village up the road there was a mechanic, so the other van picked him up on the way back to take the van up the road. We were told it would take 10 minutes. 3 hours later we were still sitting on the side of the road, and many Masai people kept coming up to us and trying to speak to us, or sell us their things. Eventually it was half fixed and we managed to get to our camp site and were escorted to out tents by masai warriors!
