19. Sunshine :)

Today's song certainly fits the weather; Sunshine by Sergeant. A lovely last full day here in Brussels. Nearly 30c, brilliant sun and no wind to cool things down, perfect! Went for a walk in the big park near Hannah's flat, took a wee picnic and then went for a row on the lake. Was followed by some very inquisitive ducks who kept bobbing up and down next to our boat. Got a good wee tan, a sweet from the captain of the little ferry that took you to and from the island in the middle. All in all it has been a brilliant day and holiday. Now off to start cleaning the flat, I don't think Hannah has cleaned some bits of it all year so it is a little bit messy!

This song is by a local band from Fife who had a very strong local cult following. They were tipped for big things, even supporting Oasis on their last tour. However they decided to go their separate ways a couple of years ago. I was at their very last gig and it was quite a sad night, brilliant gig but the end of an era. Hopefully they will get back together in the near future!
