Rain stopped play ...in Gravesend

Well as you can see the road i live in has turned into a River yet again.

... for me to get out ..i have to listen for cars... then go half way down the outside stairs and peer around the corner to make sure no cars are coming my way for at least 100 yrds .. then i have to run (haha) across the road if there are no cars on the other side of the road , if there are cars coming then i have to get back up the stairs to avoid being soaked .
The water plumes from the splashing are sometimes ten feet high..so it would be an all over soaking .
The County Council state all is ok .. with a 3" deep River running down the road regularly :O.

We don't have standing water as they do in Silverstone here it is a fast running Torrent ;).

Yayyyy ... Wimbledon has a roof .. hope it has been closed all night ;).
