Cant's Ordinary

I worked from home, only venturing out as far as the top of the Kirkgate for a few messages. I pass this stone frequently but only recently found out about the pub it commemorates - I hope the link works, since the full inscription is transcribed there. Visitors apparently included Mary Queen of Scots (although she seemed to get everywhere), Oliver Cromwell and Charles II !
