The Cross
Well today I have mostly been a "A lady that does lunch!". Three of us, Kim, Carmel and myself met up in Chichester at a place called "Amelie and Friends" for some very fine dining and a glass of Prosecco, it was sheer indulgence and we had some proper good gossip going on.
When we'd finished putting the world to rights, Carmel and I went into town. In the centre of Chichester is a building called The Cross. It was built as a place where poor people could sell their goods and as a central meeting place. It's still used as a meeting place as everyone knows where it is and it's a very popular place to stand if the heavens should open! Best of all it's just a nice place to sit and watch the world go by.
