Spikes of Ice

Goodness was it cold yesterday morning!!! MCW and I dressed up in sooooo... many layers to go back to the river and photograph another sunrise! And it was so worth it - an incredibly beautiful hoar frost! I even sprawled out on the ground for a while to take a closer look :)) Of course, I took many, many photos, both then and later in the day when we went to Poole Harbour and then through to the long stretch of sandy beach at Sandbanks.....nearly 900 photos in all.....

So I've restricted my choosing to the hoar frost, as that is a rare occurrence here :))

I could write more but as this is yesterday's blip, I have yet to sort today's, it's 8:30 pm and mcw would like her dinner (as would I!), I'll stop here :)

I've just added extras of Tilly enjoying a few minutes in the garden and madchickenwoman getting down to business on the beach!

Huge thanks for everything yesterday! Mcw goes home tomorrow, so I'll plan a big catch up then.....Going to miss her :(
