Cosy
This is Molly on a radiator bed. I think we first got it almost 10 years ago after Molly and Tom arrived. At first they used to snuggle together on it, usually lengthways, but as sister's mistrust of brother increased, they began sleeping alone and the bed became Tom's.
Tom was almost always on this bed, it is just to the right of our couch and we could easily reach him for a stroke. When we lost Tom in the summer the bed became vacant, even after a spring (autumn) clean, but in the past few weeks Molly has begun to use it and she does love it. She's changed quite a bit since Tom.
Which reminds me... it was the dark of night one evening, maybe 6 years ago, everyone else was in bed and I was in the kitchen... was I tidying? Nah... but I must have been. Then there was a massive bang from upstairs and I rushed up and found this radiator lying flat on the floor, but plumbing still intact. Tom was cowering in a corner either having being lying on it or jumping on it. The radiator brackets had only been secured to plasterboard and obviously were not expecting a big muckle weight in a bed pulling it out from the wall. The pipes had punctured the kitchen's ceiling. This could have been so much worse, I have no idea what I would have done if pipes were spurting hot water into both the living room and kitchen and any cries of help would not be heard at the other end of the house. Even The Little Dutch Boy would not have coped!
