Daytime: transferred a labouring mum into Hosp with some mild complications that were 'coming down the railway track' into something bigger. A good Caesarian section ensued , a very happy mum & dad and a beautiful red headed daughter :0)
Eve: writing tricky email to big nobs in health service who undervalue the home birth service.
Night: poor Basil got chased & biten by neighbours dog - my inner Essex girl leapt out and the shouting and language that came out of me was quite a surprise for all of us I think!
Glad to report no obvious gashes, flapping skin or haemorrhaging - but lots of licking and hopping- poss a slight touch of drama queen as he seems fine now .
