Peas

This year has been a battle in the garden with a cold, late, dry early spring followed by the wettest April and June and very little sunshine or noticeable warmth. But it looks as if we are in for a treat tonight with some fresh peas. Not the best year by far or even a decent crop but a very contented feeling all the same.
