I liked the lines and the rust. It's the bottom of a huge Costco shopping trolley, especially crafted for those enormous purchases which we did not make

Our friend and handyman came and replaced a broken window today, and had an inspired solution to the leak in the bathroom ceiling--it turns out all five of the vent pipes on the roof had deteriorating storm collars. Counting the trip to the store, it took him less than a half hour to do the whole replacement, just in time for the Big Storm that is predicted for tonight. It's a wonder we didn't have more leaks, and I can't wait for the rain to begin so I can see if it worked!
