Hume's Wheatear(Oenanthe albonigra)
I think somebody yesterday very kindly said that I was on a roll with my new birds, well this is purely down to George, who spotted this Hume's Wheatear(and knew what it was!)We had just been to film 'Kingy' and we were on our way back, he saw it in a very newly made green(mini park) area, so I had to turn the car around to go back and see it, amazingly it stayed in the tree for a portrait! We will be out again after lunch to add to the film, which hopefully if anyone is interested I will show you, by hyperlink. This bird by the way is 16cm so about the same size as a Common Kingfisher.
