Kohi Beach at St Heliers
Within walking distance from our digs in Sayegh Street, the café we had lunch in overlooks this beach. The sun was highlighting Waiheke Island in the background and it felt very close. You could almost see the vineyards and the hippies and millionaires that ran them. After a leisurely walk through St Heliers, Diane appeared back from a meeting in Hamilton and drove us in to meet up with Catriona. We had the first part of our dinner in a yuppie salad bar in the busy city centre and finished with crepes and coffees from a French café that Catriona knew, ostensibly so that she could get her loyalty card stamped. It was noted that the temperature is rising at the moment and it is now officially "Too hot for Margie". Time to look the tandem out and get a few miles in then.
