Flower Friday - Primula

This is one of the flowers in a lovely basket given to us at Christmas by my Editor's sister.

We get a bit confused between primroses, polyanthus and primulas so I Googled the question. Seemingly they are all classed as primulas; polyanthus differ from primroses in that their flowers stand proud of the leaves. These don't, so I guess they are primroses. Whatever they are called, they're very pretty anyway...

(That's what I found by Googling anyway - if any knowledgeable folk know better then please let me know!)
