Too Close for Comfort

I was out on the Bridge wings photographing seabirds having a bit of a feeding frenzy when all of a sudden the viewfinder was filled by this Great Skua, in fact, I had to zoom out to to fit it in, it was that close I though it was going to have a go at me.
It did'nt, too busy trying to pick out which feeding gull it was going to mug.

We are leaving Shetland today, heading for the "West Franklin" Oil Field. Close to the Elgin Platform that hit the headlines recently with the Gas Leak.
I have only 3 more days to go for this trip and it looks like I will get off in Peterhead on Wednesday... Just a 45 minute drive home... can't wait!
