Road to somewhere

There are signs like these in various spots in rural Renfrewshire, very few of which still ahow the intended destination. A useful metaphor for life, I think. You set off on a journey and never quite know where you are going to end up, even if you try to follow the signs and keep on the right path. All part of life's rich tapestry???
