On the beach

The sea front in Nice is divided into public and private beaches, the private charging around 20 euros for a sun bed and umbrella in a cramped area bordered by white picket fences. The public beach was equally crowded but free and open to all. The large pebbles were restrictive to wheelchairs and what was good to see was an area of the beach that had better access and wheelchair-friendly surfaces for those that needed it. I'd not come across this before.
