Contrast

I rather enjoyed the angular designs of this reception desk contrasting with the guy leaning up against it, chatting on his phone.

Taken at the London Metropole Hotel where I was visiting a photographic trade show. I'm really not sure I should visit these shows:  I just end up wanting to spend money on new equipment.

I went on to visit the "Landscape Photographer of the Year" exhibition, held for the second year running at Waterloo Station.  I still don't like the venue and the poor lighting on the prints, but I did enjoy the images. They provided some inspiration for me to do some more landscape photography, and I'm looking forward to my trip to the Lake District in May.
