Pick your weapons

A wooden dinosaur and a plastic mini mouse microphone... just two of the items that my daughter has tried to hit me with today... she's been a bit cranky this afternoon,  but in fairness we're both quite tired as we've had quite a big week and she's been challenged a bit...

Monday- an introduction to playgroup, and a chance for her to familiarise herself with the staff and other children,  as we're hoping to start next week (eeek)

Tuesday- A lovely catch up with my friend Michelle and her wee lad.  The kids played really well together and it was lots of fun... the next play date is already planned :-)

Wednesday - A visit from the inspector from the sheriff's court... It was the final  big check up,  where they came to meet little un, and check that we match with all the reports that have been submitted, and that the relationship is developing well... All went fine,  so next stop should be our day in court and the final stamping of the adoption certificate

Thursday- A visit from my friend Kyoko and her little lad,  again it was really nice to spend time with them,  and I'm looking forward to the next chance that we can all get together.

Today - Toddler group this morning,  followed by an afternoon with just the two of us full of intermittent cuddles, laughs, games, ructions, and little uns use of alternative weaponry... 

Early night all round tonight... :-)
