Wonderful walk

After a dark wet morning I had an amazing walk up from Blanchland with an old friend of John's. A real 'treat' of a walk, my first for 2016. The sky turned blue the sun appeared and we were soon out on the moors with amazing panoramic views walking across to Slaley Forest and then back in a circle to the Lord Crewe Arms for splendid refreshments just before darkness fell. At least 7 miles in all. God is good.
