Instinct

In many respects my little toddler can be very clumsy.  He's getting better, he's figuring stuff out, but dexterity is still coming.  The cautious motion of using the back of the hands to rub ones eyes seems instinctive though.  I'd expect him to get a finger in the eyeball when trying to clear his eyes based on his general level of co-ordination, but it never seems to happen.  It's so funny how some things are pre-programmed and some must be learned.

So much learning to do.  For us all.  Always.
