Hanging out

Just goofing off in his room before nap-time.

Sebastien has gotten in the habit of counting everything he sees. He counts steps as he goes up and down them (and adds a few sometimes). He counts whatever he finds in the pictures in his books. Today at lunchtime, he started counting his fingers as he waited for food. Yesterday, before falling asleep, I heard him counting the bars on the sides of his crib. Since he can only count to twenty, when he gets there he starts all over again at one.

I'm wondering if his two mathematician grandparents may have given him a love of numbers gene...
