Olympians in Waiting

We spent the morning in the Richard Dunn Sports Centre at the Bradford Gymnastics Festival, where 7yo was participating with Saltaire Gym Club (he's one of the blue ring). There were four other clubs represented: Ilkley Gym Club, Bradford Olympian Trampoline Club, Bradford Gym Club and Astre Academy. At the start and finish of the show they arranged themselves in five rings to mark the Olympic year, and perhaps we have a future Olympian in here somewhere.

Later, I went orchid hunting on the moor, and reassuringly found the same plant that I blipped last year. A little further away was a much more substantial colony, with a few varieties in colour. Just before arriving home I found a Small Heath butterfly, which on any other day would easily have been my blip.

Meanwhile, the tennis is ebbing and flowing...
