Teatro Alla Scalla

Rigoletto in Milan-a virtual feast for the senses.

Every type of outfit was here this evening and I enjoyed people watching almost as much as the action on stage.

The theatre itself is stunning-must be one of the largest in the world.

We also visited the Castello Sforzesco where we saw Michelangelo's Rondanini Pieta.
I like that we have seen his first sculpture and his last-unfinished due to probably having a fatal stroke while working on it. He was 89 at the time though-quite impressive really!
