White horses
It was the first day for a while that we had a strong wind. Lots of white horses and big waves on the Fortrose side of the Firth. This is the view down to Chanonry Lighthouse. The golf course runs down the middle of the spit of land that sticks out into the Moray Firth. The wind must have been a problem for the golfers today but at least they did nt have to worry about any cars that can normally drive down the middle of the course as it is closed to all traffic until late March as improvements are being made to the carpark.
Quite a bright afternoon and a lovely sunrise this morning with a rainbow over the field.
