Calm!

This evening we (Burnsies, Kearnes', Cathie and I) got together at the Burnsies for a dessert night and while all the kids were up it was nowhere near calm! But it was utterly beautiful. Naimh and Tilly were engrossed in conversation as were Ceara and Eoin. Unconsciously or perhaps subconsciously securing their friendships before another long separation. And I suppose we adults were doing likewise.
Tomorrow Matt and the girls fly home. (Although this is very much their home too.)
It makes me very sad.
I miss them so much.
But…I am so grateful that we have been able to enjoy all their company over Christmas. They just are such beautiful people!
