Wound up in Wexford

Trip to the ballet

We had a day trip down to London today, to see Royal Ballet perform 2 shorter ballets - revived ballets originally choreographed by Sir Frederick Ashton.  We really enjoyed it.  It was a packed house, with quite a few children, which was nice to see.

We had a cheap and cheerful early evening meal in Strada, (2 courses plus a non-alcoholic drink for £9.95 - very reasonable) before coming home.  We were very impressed with the pizza.

It was meant to be a 2 day trip, combining this with a trip to The Enduring Eye - but in the end we had to abandon that idea - I had an important meeting on the Friday, and the Sunday trains were even more disrupted than usual.  Instead, we hope to get to that in February, when Walter is running a course, and I have to go up for a meeting
