If at First You Don't Succeed...

I'm a bit late to the party for SquirrelBlipFriday, but better late than never!

Ms. Douglas Squirrel, last seen here, was undeterred by the heavy rain, and determined to get back into the supposedly squirrel-proof bird feeder, as she had on that earlier occasion. After carefully licking her paws and then washing her face (see first two extras), she stood for several minutes contemplating the feeder, as you see here.

Clearly not keen to stuff herself into it again, Ms. DS proceeded to try pulling the feeder across the table, using her teeth -- much to my surprise! Perhaps all the rain reduced the friction, as you can see in the last two extras just how far she managed to do that. I think she was hoping that she could make the feeder drop off the table and break open.

As her plan didn't work, she had to resort to stuffing herself into the feeder again, which took longer than last time. If she gets any fatter, that won't be an option.

(I wish she'd waited until later in the day to do this, as I had to shoot at f2.8, ISO 4000, 1/60th of a second -- not optimal!)
