'To be human is to create'

The village of Taplow ... the green, a pub, a church, a small school, a telephone box and some lovely cottages.

I worked at the village school for over 10 years ...

An artist lived in the Old Vicarage, with her extended family. Mrs. H was wonderfully eccentric. She was often seen 'out and about' with her sketchbook and her pet parrot on her shoulder!

Her grandchildren went to the school for a time and Mrs. H allowed classes to visit her studio during arts' weeks and she painted backdrops for the school's Christmas productions.

Happy days ...
