another fossil

It seems yesterday’s old herring is not the only thing in the house to give itself to posterity and blip.   This is my back-up hard drive which has just given up the ghost.  (You do back-up your blips don’t you?). 

I conducted a post-mortem in order to see if it was blip-worthy rather than to determine cause of death.  A bit of faffing has made it look more colourful in the after life than it ever did in this.

Fortunately I run two back-up discs, having been nagged on this very point by the IT manager where I used to work, so all is not lost.
