Dog number 2 was in fine form today, leaping around like the lunatic that he is. Getting him to stay still for 1/60 of a second can be a challenge...

The day started early-ish, with dropping the boy child down for yet another rowing session, and then home to do a bit of work. Mme Tepeka, who has guests for the weekend, emerged bleary-eyed from her scratcher considerably later but is making up for it by cooking what looks to be a fine fry-up for lunch. There are even mushrooms, by special request.

It's nice having guests for the weekend, though I was abandoned yesterday evening while they went for a girlie dinner in town. From the look of them all this morning, I ended up with the best of the deal...
