End of a Memory

The duck pond at Chasewater. People used to flock here in the 70's for a day out where the kids could paddle in safety.

It's a long time since then and recently it has been the domain of the ducks, geese and swans, Now it's been decided that the inevitable poo from thousands of birds is too much of an issue so it's going to be filled in.

It's been completely fenced in and what tickled me is that not a single bird has twigged that it can just fly over the fence and still get to the water.
