This must surely be a sign of Spring?

There were petals on the cycle path, so I stopped and looked up, and there against a featureless sky, I was astonished to see not one, but two trees among the many along Sutton Road (Hull) were already at the stage where they were not only in full bloom, but petals were already falling.
This is the earliest I can ever recall them doing so, but they are very welcome!
I have marked their position on the map in case anyone is passing by.
These blossoms reminded me of a Chinese painting somehow.
