After the rain

Dull and wet journey up from Aberdeen this morning. Stopped off at Laggan on the way up the road so that Mr B could attend a course. Whilst he was busy with his course I went off for a walk but decided not to venture too far up the hill as the cloud was low.

after my walk headed off to a small cafe for lunch of pea and mint soup with home made bread and then back to pick up hubby, stopping to blip the river on the way.

For those of you who have ever watched the programme Monarch of the Glen, this is where much of the filming took place.

We have passed this river on many occasions but were always in a hurray to get somewhere so never stopped to admire it properly, it was nice to have the time today to stop and explore properly.
