My First Kimchi
I was inspired by my dear Canadian colleague Michelle who talked to me at work about their big passion for fermentation at home and she also shared a tip with me for a good Czech e-shop with weck jars. I traditionally make sauerkraut but have never tried anything else. This weekend I layered into studying and kimchi making :-)
My first kimchi is in the jars. We have about 5 days to go and we can't wait!
Finally I also made use of a book I had ordered from bookdepository called 'Wild Fermentation' by Sandor Ellix Katz. There are great recipes and beautiful stories full of love of fermentation.
