Burnished

Tried to do some planning of holidays this morning but it's complicated-and getting more so by the day.
Off to an early lunch with P, A&N and T&K-the birthday girl. Hope she likes her copper lamp once it's delivered. Nice to chat about their new house, ice hockey, Diesel the dog and other usual stuff. Poor P's hearing aid was broken so all the noise was a struggle for him but he enjoyed the food and being part of the melee
Flight home for a change, given a broken bridge on the west coast train line-ages since I've been at Luton on a Sunday night and won't rush to do it again but at least I was home early.
Another busy week ahead!
