Inside the Mondrian house in Amersfoort where we visited 'from Cobra to Zero', a double exposition with the Flehite museum. Bert called it 'surprising', I am always looking for the 'why' in some paintings. Most of the works were nice. Beautiful play of colour and shape or just a lot of repetition, but with some I was puzzled. Time to read the book the Understanding of Art. I still have a lot to learn.
