Scottish Thistle Award

After a mostly sleepless night for me the Beavers got up at 7.30 ( a vast improvement from our last sleepover).
This morning we did more Scottish themed activities including a Highland Games ( the tug of war was hilarious) then the parents arrived at noon to see their wee darling be presented with the Scottish Thistle Award. This badge only came out 2 weeks ago so we could well be the first colony to achieve it. The kids all went away tired but happy.
I have felt broken for the rest of the day despite a cheeky late afternoon snooze.
