Full moon

The full moon was bright above clear skies tonight. While perfect for viewing, the lack of a cloud blanket brought cold temperatures here in east-central Canada. Fortunately, we did not get storms - just cold.

The US East Coast, however, was not as fortunate. The powerful full moon created in higher tides, which added fuel to the deadly winter storm Jonas that hit there on Saturday. Although the blizzards have ended, coastal flooding in New Jersey is expected due to the high tides.
