Scrooge.

Clare's cousin was over from Paris and she just happens to be cousins with Jim Broadbent who just happens to be the lead in a west end production of Scrooge. She also just happened to get us all tickets to it.
After a terrific retelling of the familiar story we went down to meet the great man in his dressing room. Later as we were leaving, we passed the doors that led to the stage."Do you want a look around?" he asked, and proceeded to give us a tour of the set. What a privilege. The photo is of some heads that JB has carved over the years. Not done for the production, but he "just happened to have lying around at home" and thought would look good as props; and then became integral to one of the scenes.
Renaissance man.
