Not watching the tennis!

I went for a lovely lone 6 mile cycle ride /walk - taking in many of my favourite spots: Radley Lakes, Abingdon lock and weir, Abbey Meadow, Abingdon Bridge and the Mill Stream. The Thames was extremely high - the water at the weir was at the same height on both sides

Not everyone was glued to the tennis. As you can see there were plenty of other people out and about in town, at Abbey Meadow, enjoying the sporadic sunshine.

However, I just got home by the skin of my teeth - then the heavens opened. I think the official description is "extreme rain". I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Thames has now burst its banks.
