Day trip to London today to see Henry V at the Globe. No photos during the performance but I grabbed this on of a musician before they started.

About 13.5 hours round trip is a long day. We could have caught an earlier train home, but never having been before, I booked cautiously. So we crossed the Millenium Bridge, had a pizza by St Paul's and a walk along Newgate before the heavens opened and we decided that even waiting in King's Cross was better than that.

If I had grown-up internet rather than just a phone on a train, I could probably find out how many Millenium bridges there are in the UK/Europe/the world. It is an interesting measure of the zeitgeist that so many wanted to mark an 'historic' occasion by building transport links dedicated to pedestrians and cyclists.
