Breaker Bay - Kaiteriteri

Breaker Bay, just a short walk over the hill from the main Kaiteriteri Beach, is one of my "Happy Places". I have been visiting this bay annually for over 40 years now. I never tire of it. The swimming is far better there than on the main beach, there are less people on it and the surrounding environment is superb. Margaret, Emily and I went to the bay this afternoon to escape the stifling heat of the motor camp. It was close to low tide but the water was warm to swim in. An idyllic spot indeed.
