Big Apple

Literally, a big apple.

Not sure if the picture does it justice but the apple in reality was huge, big enough to hold in two hands.

Walking through an orchard made me realise how generic, faultless and identical-looking the apples we buy in supermarkets are. They are of course chosen to be the same shape and size, 'perfect' looking, for their appeal to the mass market. Quite often, the taste is the last aspect which is considered.
