Jon Sturdy Photography Course Assington Mill

This is the first day of a two day photography course in the rural depths of Suffolk which I was really looking forward too, a birthday present from my wife. The location was stunning so quiet and full of quintessential English countryside that sadly we may have forgotten still exists.

Jon is an excellent tutor, mentor and oceans of enthusiasm that cannot fail to instill the fun of photography. Jon is a professional photographer and he tells us that his hobby is also taking photo's. His experience and wealth of knowledge spans decades.

The first day consisted of a mix of field photography, hands on taking pictures with your own camera, followed by indoor workshops discussing composition and techniques for taking stunning photos.

I learned on the first day that it is possible to take pictures in manual mode if you are prepared to get out of your comfort zone.
